The only time i see problems with an empty workspace is when one
session is destroying another one. The code will do this.

If you add a print_r($_SESSION) towards the end of index.php you will
see what the session contains for that login.

Then when they refresh / login again - they will see the working values.

Then it's a matter of working out (if this does happen) as to why the
sessions clash.
