There are but eventually it comes down to someone actually making the fix. Sitting around because lots of others are sitting around isn't going to get us very far.

I agree about moving discussions off list, but putting everything onto
google.code assigns it to me - and I can't replicate every single
problem everyone has (I have no LDAP system), or want to commit
(personally) to fixing every problem people come across. In this
example - the code can't be that different - so a diff / looking at
the code side by side should be sufficiently informative as to offer
solutions to the problem.

If I was to fix the problem, that's what I would do, but there are
plenty of people as capable as me of that.
