Subject: Collaborative creativity recording

Hi all

This is very much based around the teaching opportunities with Xerte but
could be useful also for promoting the potential of Xerte as a
collaborative tool for multi site institutions.

This online training session took place today with a group of around 20
folk from different FE, HE and adult community organisations in the West
Midlands.

The session was recorded which is useful because it talks through (and
walks through in video) the stages but also uses lots of different
contributors to create the LO that can be found at
http://xerte5.techdis.palepurple.co.uk/play_8397

It's a live session so not polished production standards but there was a
good buzz about the session so I think it has value. Certainly the
principle of a group of tutors in different locations collaboratively
creating a resource over a lunchtime is a powerful message.

With thanks to Alison Wootton of Regional Support Centre West Midlands
for providing the opportunity and supporting so ably with the background
facilitation. This session was part of the Regional Support Centre West
Midlands e-discover
<http://moodle.rsc-wm.ac.uk/vle2011/course/view.php?id=10> conference.
