I seem to remember having a discussion on this list with Julian about the
display of pop up or alert messages (The kind of thing you can do in java
script were you get a box with a message in it and an OK button) and If I
recall correctly there was no support for them in Xerte.

There should be some way of providing some feedback but as Dave implies it
is all down to what is required.

If I get the time I will have a play around.
