Finally cracked it!

When installing a Model / wizard I had assumed you could save the files in the same folder as the main folder containing your learning object.... instead I needed to create new sub-folders for each new model/wizard added to the object!!

It would be useful to make this explict on the WIKI somewhere. As the message "the folder is already in use" was not clear enough as I thought "yes that's ok its in use for the object I am working on"

Hi,

I'm using the JK page wizards and importing them as I mentioned in attempt (2) below.... but to no success.

I can't get the data to load into the published object only the holding page for the interaction, the interactions themselves won't appear?

Any ideas?

It seems that what you're looking for is Jonathan Kemps' excellent Page Wizards. They allow template based creation of pages (page by page ) and Xerte level tweeking afterwards.

- The data seems to been saved as a separate XML file _orient rather than in the XML of the object I'm working on
- When I preview / publish the object a page is created for the "model" bu not content is loaded into the final output !!!

This means I'm stuck moving beyond the template prescribed content OR forced to code very simple object and manually re-create all the interactions I need which were in the templates... which isn't worth me doing...

Any help, tips or suggestions or pointing out my misconceptions would be very helpful :-)
