Hello,

You need to have activex turned on in your IE options.

This came up last week I think, so if you could search the archive (www.nottingham.ac.uk/xerte/community.htm<http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/xerte/community.htm>) it should come up.

Hello there,

I have been having a play with Xerte and have tried experimenting with the 'Text to Speech' option but can't seem to get it to work.  It comes up with an error on the page when I select the option.  The object is uploaded into our VLE and everything else appears to work as it should.  Do I need something else running or do you think something in our VLE could be stopping it?  I am using IE8.
