The issue was that if I make a posting (not a reply) I don't get a copy of
my posting from the list, so though it shows in my sent mail I have no way
of knowing that it has been received. When someone posts a reply I get a
copy of my posting with the reply, so most of the time, given the fast
responses from the Xerte Team this is not a problem.

However I made a couple of postings around 25th Feb. which received no
replies. As a result I was unsure whether they had been received by the
mailing list or just got lost in the ether.
