With respect to Wink files there was some discussion on the Xerte list a
couple of years ago.

The page in the PageTemplates project wide template that displays swf files
should display wink files as does the Text Flash SWF Page Wizard

There are a number of factors that you need to keep in mind when you create
your wink video file, the following is from the Page Wizard documentation

For Wink files use the following settings
Wink: framerate 24; Output to SWF; Preloader = No; Add Control Bar = Yes;
max project dimensions 740 x 460.
Xerte: Add movie size parameter e.g.
“740,460”
Add Interactivity parameter = Native SWF
Note: including a pre-loader in the wink render settings will cause size
problems, with its display in Xerte.

Hopefully this will resolve your wink problems.

Kind regards

Johnathan
