[Xerte] Re: My Learning Object title

This is a bug which is long overdue for fixing. It is unrealistic and
possible bordering on 'adventurous' to ask non-IT staff to edit the XML. I
have also had to do it by unzipping the zip file, editing the manifest, and
then replacing this in the zip file. Given the amount of parsing of the
header that takes place in the import routine there is quite a risk that
things could go wrong.

PLEASE can it be fixed or can those of us who are not PHP wizards, but can do
coding, be told how to patch the export routines to pick up the title
correctly and without jeopardising future compatibility. J

Kindest regards,

Thomas Rochford.

Oh right fair enough. Thanks for the tip, I've done this and it works.

You cannot at the moment. You can unpack the .zip file, and than edit the
imsmanifest.xml, and/or the scormRLO.htm.

Standalone Xerte 2.16 will pick up the name and use it when creating a SCORM
package.

I'm going to feel like an idiot when someone answers this, but...

In Xerte Online Toolkits, how do you change the title of the course? After
exporting to SCORM it shows up as "My Learning Object title".

I have changed the "Learning Object title" field to the course title but this
doesn't seem to have changed it.

Thanks,

Phil
