Yes.... good idea...

Oh.., ehmm no, the users haven't a clue why....

I wish the Xerte project could simply boycot IOS.... I am afraid that's 
not the best way to go. In the end, I think it;s ok not to support IOS 
for the people I've spoken to. They understand it's is a bit of a 
political position Apple has chosen, and that we as developers are in a 
corner. But they really, really would appreciate a solution..... ;-)
