[Xerte] statusColour not working onload

I haven't got the code in front of me now... wouldn't changing it to textSelected break the existing themes? Or is textSelected the same as titleBarColour in the default themes?

could it not have its own style separate from titleBarColour e.g. textSelected?

Magic that's cracked it!

The one remaining problem I have is the highlight colour on the dropdowns and table of contents menu. Is there a way of setting that differently from titleBarColour?

Cheers
Ron

Cheers Julian. The Vol: text now shows onload which it wasn't before but not the Text to Speech text.

Can you give this a whirl please?

Cheers that improves things onload so that the text inside the dropdowns shows but doesn't seem to affect the Text to Speech: and Vol: text. Selecting Colour Scheme > Default then does change that text to black too. Is there a separate style for those two bits of text?

Happy 2011!

STYLES.textUnselected is the one applied to the text colour on the drop downs...

Hi
I guess this might be a question for Julian...

I've been trying to create a set of styles for an XOT installation (but testing with Xerte) where the status bar colour is light rather than dark and therefore needs dark rather than the default white text. I think I've indentified that the style to change is statusColour but it seems that when the LO first loads that style only has an effect on the continue button bottom right not all the text on the status bar. If I then select the Colour Scheme menu and Default the style applies correctly to all the text on the status bar. I've had a look at XMLEngine.fla but can't find where to fix this and not sure even if that's where the problem lies. Any ideas?

Cheers
Ron
