C'mon, this is what makes it fun...

Can you do something like use some tokens so you can treat your phrase as a word?

The*quick*brown*fox

And then re-mash it with spaces once you've calculated stuff?

Works perfect for single word gapfills.

Of course the next one I run into is a phrase.

The breakApart() approach used in toolkits for laying out the gapFill exercise is probably the best thing I've got: see code in attached and example in Nottingham.ac.uk/toolkits/play_560
