1. Yes.
2. Not sure. I think you can as long as you don't then redistribute the combined system. I'm going to check that out for you though.

I've got two commercial projects that I have a question about:

1. Can I use Xerte (standalone) to create commercial LO's? Any changes
to Xerte will be open source, but the content will not.
2. Can I integrate Xerte tool kits within a commercial LMS, i.e. the
templates and the changes needed on the Xerte tool kit side will be open
source, but the content will be commercial, and the LMS in which Xerte
Tool kits will be available is also a commercial hosted system.
