[Xerte] Re: Connect To dialog appear when uploading .FLV

Thanks Patrick, yes it seems the IT department have just commissioned a
new proxy server which is causing the problem. The trouble is when I
authenticate with my account details the dialog closes and Xerte
crashes. I'm trying to get an exception added now. Thanks for the help.

It won't be the Xerte code, sounds like authentication on the external
server so you'll probably need to talk to them.

Hi,

 

When adding a video page and try to upload an FLV to play I get a
"Connect To" dialog box appear which asks for a username and password. I
am using Xerte within the college network but the Xerte installation is
on an external web hosting server on the internet. Does anyone have any
idea how this can be resolved?
