Xerte creates scorm packages of all it's media. So it should be in the package?

Hello everybody,
I have a question regarding the attachment in a SCORM package.
The question is if it is possible to “embed” a document (ppt, pdf, xls, doc) inside it and create a link to it from an activity but with the document inside the package.
