[Xerte] Re: Xerte import error

If you import a zip it should create a new project with the name you entered in the text area.

If you don't enter a name then it calls the file 'imported project' or maybe 'imported template'

The excess messages sounds like an old file somewhere, but if some one checks the php they will see if those messages are in there. They look like old debug statements.

Am not sure what nothing appears in preview means.

If you import a template then it's security status is private so it cannot be played.

If it doesn't appear in your workspace then scroll to the bottom as it may appear at the end

If after editing it and clicking on play in the editor it doesn't work that sounds like a file has corrupted somewhere.

When I unzipped the file I saw that a couple of video clips – each about 5MB in size were still within the zip even though they are no longer used in the LO. They had been used but I subsequently deleted the pages where I deployed them.

My query is when I download the zipped file and unzip, in the media folder are the files which have been used along with the old ones, as these are no longer required is it ok to delete them or are they still referred to by Xerte?
