[Xerte] Re: RLO Corrupted when Certain Media Load Reached?

I'm wondering if it's not the weight of the media files, but the number of times the "copy file to media folder" is invoked?
Some Zinc failure at the magic 32 or 64 or 128 calls?

The weight seems to keep changing, so I think that's a red herring.

I’d like to know what’s going on too: your comment ‘wipes itself at the point when I do whatever it is I do which offends it’ seems the major point of investigation right now… Can you shed any more light? Subject: [Xerte] Re: RLO Corrupted when Certain Media Load Reached? I opened the blown up .rlo in Notepad and removed all the instances of quotes in the title. When I then opened the .rlo it was blank of all content. So I created a freshly blown up file and discovered that its .rlo was also blank - i.e. the 7 pages it had held had been wiped. I hadn't actually checked that before but it seems that the blow up is because the .rlo wipes itself at the point when I do whatever it is I do which offends it. Regarding the quotes, I am almost certain that when this happened on previous occasions I didn't have the quotes in the title. I will certainly take them out though. (Just wonder if there is any way of putting quotes or making the text italic in the title? The title is "And" because the exercise is teaching that word, and it needs something.) I'm now being very careful about saving growing .rlo's at each stage but would love to know why this is happening. Thanks Julian and Dave for your help. Deborah
