The format changes. So the rules change. So your previous assumptions on how to break up the url change.

Do they serve tea and scones at 4.00?

Do we have a list of strings it needs to work on anywhere?

Is the ID not always in the URL?

So if you split the string on '&', or maybe '=', could you traverse the pairs.

(I think I must be very important at Oxford - i have a whole office to
myself, either that, or I am in the wrong room. Have a mooring spot
for my punt though).
