[Xerte] XOT upgrade and moodle patch

Hi Pat

sorry to pose various questions on your last day at Nottingham but this will
obviously be of interest to others too...

 

1. I'm aware there are additions to the database in the xerte beta so the
usual method of upgrading by simply updating the files and folders won't add
anything to the database. Is there an upgrade process which does update the
database or will just updating the files and folders suffice without
breaking anything?

 

2. Are you aware that the current beta download contains additional
templates in the parent_templates and templates folders which aren't
accessible by the XOT workspace or management page but are in the folders?

 

3. Are there any key changes to the files duplicated in the moodle patch?
e.g.

session.php

management.php

index.php

\website_code\php\scorm\export.php

 

I can update the moodle patch but I'm wondering if moving session stuff to
the database will have caused any problems with the moodle patch?
