[Xerte] Toolkits Beta Test [was: Error on login to xerteonline]

Everyone, please, if you have ten minutes to spare today:

Download the latest XAMPP and install it http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html

Set up the toolkits beta in it from the beta zip file http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/~cczpl/xerte/xerteonlinetoolkits_beta.zip



The instructions are unchanged from those on the website, or as shown in the video http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/xerte/manual/installingToolkits.swf

Tell us any problems.

If you have a little bit longer, access to a  web server, and sufficient privileges to try setting it up for real, that would be even better.

I downloaded the xerte toolkits v1.5 as a zipped file off the website. This is the web path I used...

Hi,

I am trying to login to start using the authoring tool but the following error lists at the top of my web browser:

Strict Standards: Creating default object from empty value in C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\database.php on line 14

Notice: Undefined variable: form_string in C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\index.php on line 39

After I use my username and password as allocated in mysql - but the next screen is blank - with the following errors:

Appache and Mysql is running on the XAMMP control panel...
