I seem to recall at my old college we got round a similar problem by
pointing to the global catalogue.

If all else fails you could always use a second install just for students.

Subject: [Xerte] LDAP

Hi

We've been running XOT on IIS for a while now. Staff have happily been using
the system. I am planning on rolling out XOT further as some of our students
are going to create Learning Objects for assessment.

The only problem with our XOT install is that we are pointing our LDAP base
at a "staff" OU. Students are in a separate OU ("students"). Is there any
way to specify multiple OUs in the LDAP base script?

Any help gratefully received

Adam
