1.2 - works ok in Moodle

FormatFactory does a great job and easy to use

>Same question for .wav

Same answer - Formatfactory - although lots of users I support also familiar
with Audacity

>graphics format? .png? Favourite conversion tool?

.png or better still.swf where transparency involved otherwise .jpg

again FormatFactory might do for simple conversion and
http://www.glorylogic.com/imagetuner.html a good tool for non-specialists.
Or importing into PowerPoint and then saving out to a different format.
Personally tend to stick with PhotoShop for raster and
CorelDraw/Illustrator/Flash for Vector.

For those using XOT tend to recommend keeping everything in XOT and only
exporting as SCORM for separate quizzes but I guess that doesn't apply to
those using Xerte.

For you folks who live in LMS's, I have some questions:

SCORM 1.2, 2004 or ??
Why?

.avis > flv right? Any rec's on the conversion tool?

Same question for .wav

graphics format? .png? Favourite conversion tool?

Any other tricks you use for Xerte in LMS's and minimizing portability
issues?

Cheers,

Dave
