PDF support would be very useful for colleagues here! Embedded is the best solution I think, I don't have any evidence but I'd imagine a student is less likely to follow a link rather than reading something inline.

Gets my vote (although obviously we'd need to work with them to make them as 'accessible' as possible).

If you'd like to upload files that flash cannot natively support, then you

1) Highlight the project you want to upload the file into
2) Click on properties
3) Click on Media and Quota
4) Then use the form to upload a file
5) Once the file is uploaded, click on the file and you'll be provided with a URL to the resource, which you could then include as a hyperlink in one of the text fields.

If you have a load of media that you need supporting then there might be scope for us to add a new page like we did with Jing and Ispring.

Support for PDF would seem like a logical addition? But would people see this as best displayed inline, or are hyperlinks ok?
