Yeah, I don't do this on purpose, air just does that. But I'll look into that.

Sure, I guess, but need to find out how (this is my first air app).
Also we can use the NativeWindow class which gives you real OS menu (e.g. on Mac it's very uncommon to have the menu bar tied to the window, it normally stays in the top bar). But that would need further rewriting.

I updated my svn copy but couldn't get a xerte.app file. Is it still there?
