Really?

I also noticed the preview thing - something is wrong with the path - is
Xerte.swf in the folder the file is in?

wow, that's impressive. I just asked some minutes ago - and here we go.

The piece loads fine and all the icons/properties/the tree/menu looks as
known form the Windows version. 

I can also save the file without problems.

The only (major) thing that does not work for me is the preview. It just
displays the typical broken image icon. 

I guess we have to take a look at the PreviewLoader.as/PreviewWindow.as.
I have FlashDevelop installed, but have no experience with Zinc. Perhaps
you can give some hints?
