I don't think it matters - I can't remember if there was a reason, if
there was it was probably a timing issue,

Subject: RE: [Xerte] Getting current page Id

I have just updated to the latest version of Xerte (2.9 December)

Before updating I created an empty project using the page templates
project template.
After updating I created another empty page templates project, so that I
could compare the two to identify changes in the new version.

I have identified that the narrationHandler interaction has been
modified.

The onInit event has been moved to the start of the interaction and the
hideNarration event has been renamed to "killYouTubePlayer".

In order to support narration from page wizard based pages I have a
version of the narrationHandler model to be used with the page wizards.

What is the significance of the changes that have been made to the
narrationHandler model? Are they hooking in any way to changes that have
been made in any of the swf files?

I have no way of comparing the new swf files with the old ones other
than by date modified and for some unknown reason the project created
with the updated xerte is showing all the files in the common folder as
having a timestamp exactly 1 hour behind those in the project created
with the version of Xerte I was using prior to the update.

I am trying to identify if I need to make changes to my narrationHandler
model.

Kind regards

Johnathan
