ffmpef does wav to mp3 IIRC?

Xerte 3 did have some ffmeg in for awhile to convert media when you import it, but I took it out while I tidied a few things up. I'll put it back in and start putting an interface around it at some point, then it can be part of Xerte 3.

I used ffmpeg to convert avi to flv and it worked well ffmpeg.org

I use audacity with LAME for wav to mp3 but there are lots of options.
Lately I've used AVS4U suite and it is a very good value as they have
a large suite available. AVS Video Converter 6 has lots of options.
