[Xerte] XerteToolKits post installation log-in failure

It's in the root folder.

If only you want to use your install, rename index.php to index.old,
then demo.txt to index.php

Then go to your site and you'll get in without a username and password

If more people want to use your install, rename index.php to index.old,
then switch.txt to index.php

Then open index.php, look for "joe bloggs ". You'll see some code with
usernames and passwords in. Change this.

Then go to your site and you'll get in using that password and username.

Hope this helps.

Good morning Patrick;

I very much appreciate your prompt reply.

Where do I find demo.txt or switch.txt, and what do I do with it/them?

Thanks again.

That's because xampp doesn't have LDAP php code installed (I'd guess).

Try demo.txt or switch.txt

Good afternoon;

I am running Firefox v3.6.8 on Windows XP (service pack 3) and XAMPP
v1.6.6a (installed prior to the XerteToolKits installation and already
containing several databases).

Having installed XerteToolKits today, I launched the Toolkits 'front
page' and submitted my log-in credentials. The proceeding screen was
completely blank. Even the source code for the page was empty.

Is anyone able to advise please.

Thanks in anticipation
