Sadly Julian's away and I'm not really that skilled on this side of
things.

Dave? Paul?

Subject: Re: [Xerte] Change the global look custom look example files

Julian,

Thanks for the start on the customization. I'm unsure of the terminology
so please bear with me.

I started a new Xerte desktop project and was able to remove the
background using the code you provided in a script object under
framework and before the first page, but when I attempted to add the new
background image using the code you provided I could not get the .swf to
show in the preview. I have attached my project folder so you can see
what I attempted.

to recap:
I want to load the .swf file behind the navigation elements and then
nudge the navigation elements around so they sit nicely on top of the
background image. I believe I will need to import the background swf
file to a level below the navigation elements. is this possible the way
I am doing it?

Can I sent the background swf to level 0?
Can the individual navigation elements be moved using x and y.
Is this the best way to do this can I generate a template from the end
result?

Any feedback or assistance would be greatly appreciated
