[Xerte] Dragging graphics, media etc.

That 'always on top' is a longstanding gripe of mine, and is an issue with the zinc sofware we use to make the executable I'm afraid.

Thanks Peter - I will look for this too. The lack of feedback was/is disconcerting - it may simply have been hidden

Hi Julian

I also get errors when trying to import Media. On vista and I think xp see attached image of the double backslash when the wizard goes looking for the media folder even when its there. As xerte sits "Always on on top" the message is hidden behind the Xerte window and you need to drag it out of the way to see the message.

I now use page wizards with no problems and media files are copied to the media folder OK.

Yes I did - and that did not work either. I wonder if I am trying to import the wrong media (e.g. mpg).

	Thanks

		Hello

This is truly a novice question. Please forgive it.

I have just started using Xerte and I am experimenting with audio and video. I am experiencing problems with dragging and dropping media into Xerte from Windows explorer. When I drag the file to Xerte or Use the Import Media function, it never appears anywhere. I have tried dragging to the URL in the object properties (of appropriate objects) and it simply does not register - and I have tried dragging to every other part of the system as far as I can tell.. I must be missing something obvious but cannot seem to identify what it is.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

		Cheers
		Andrew
