[Xerte] Xerte Online Toolkits: Installation Guide_PLEASE HELP

I must be missing something. Reading your mail it appears you have
installed xammp and installed toolkits and all is working properly.
Somehow I don't think this is what you mean.

What exactly is the problem?

Hi Julian Tenney

I am Pieter-Dirk Jacobs from South Africa.  We got the Xerte Online 
Toolkits today and the XAMPP.exe as well.  We struggled from 13:30pm 
untill now (15:50pm).  We followed the instructions word by word and 
ended up with the same results as the instalation instructions provided 
and it does install and at the end we did navigate to the "demo.php" 
file.....but now what?
Please help?
