If you're aware of any components that do this, I'd go down that road.
'arbitrary html' covers a lot of ground...

I am looking for a fairly robust solution that can handle arbitrary html
or as
close to that as feasible.

I was thinking along the lines of trialling the swf html renderers;
however I am
open to suggestions.
