Hi Jeremy,

We have had the same problem, I had a go with it once (ages ago) and ended
up giving up due to time constraints (that's my excuse!!). I think most
people who install toolkits will have this issue. I think from memory Pat
told me to edit login_library.php as my ideal outcome is to use a mysql db
to authenticate.

Subject: [Xerte] Authentication

Hello All,

Are there any alternatives to LDAP authentication?

Is it possible to have for example email registration, or just create a
database of user accounts?

If this feature does not yet exsit, where which files would I need to edit
to create it?

For example, if I wanted to write a new auth method, where would I change
the function / method call?

Thanks Jeremy
