I am trying to get the Xerte toolkits running as it is becoming
increasingly clear that in the organisation I work for a collaborative
web based solution to the creation of e-learning will be required.

Initially I have installed Xampp and installed XerteToolkits.

The only issue I hit was that I based my installation instructions on an
earlier email that required a "toolkits" folder to be created rather
than a "xertetoolkits" folder. However once I changed the folder name
from toolkits to xertetoolkits all seemed to work OK. I installed using
the Xampp button rather than the full install.

However when I try to edit the project I have created I get an error
message

Warning:
copy(C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\USER-FILES/1-guest-Nottingham/data.xm
l) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in
C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\modules\xerte\edit.php on line 46

Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: No such file or directory in
C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\modules\xerte\edit.php on line 48

Also the project properties / media and quota tab displays the following

Warning: filesize() [function.filesize]: stat failed for
C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\USER-FILES/1-guest-Nottingham/data.xml in
C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\website_code\php\properties\media_and_quot

This project is currently using 0 MB

It would be useful to be able to fix this, if you can give me any clues
what to do. At present there are no folders in the user-files folder.

However I suspect that what I need to try to set up is a none Xampp
based production server. Can you advise what the minimum software
requirements are for xerte with respect to Apache, php, mySql and any
other components that are required?

Kind regards

Johnathan
