Hi Julian

I'd have been happy to join in but I'm delivering training elsewhere on the
3rd April. But perhaps a subsequent session for developers could be on how
to create and share new page template models.

I haven't had time to play with that yet but can't wait to do so and it
should be stated on this list that it's a fantastic new development and
everyone who benefits from using Xerte/Toolkits should be encouraged to give
back to the community by sharing any new templates. I think there are two
things that will help that cause:

1. A webinar + documentation on how to adapt/create and add in new
template models as well as what to back-up to prevent future overwrites.

2. A system for the community to share any new templates/modules. I
can't recall if this list allows attachments but my hunch is we would
quickly need a better system for that which includes navigation etc. I know
it might be slow at first but in the future I imagine something like the
system for downloading modules from moodle.org e.g.
http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?id=6009

3. The system should also include a wishlist area for feature
requests, template requests etc

There must be something out there we could use but like I say I think it
would help if there was a webinar and documentation to kick start this.

Cheers

RonM (bumped the other RonM to RonM2!) ;-)

We will. We need to confirm it first. Alistair very kindly offered us the
use of instant presenter for the session, but we need someone from techDis
to set the sesison up for us. I also need some feedback from those of you
interested - is 1400 GMT, Fri 3rd April a good time for you?

Can you provide details about how to join that session (UTC+1)?

Any special software required?
