Dear Julian,

.rlo was added to the list of MIME types on our test server (mapped as an
XML file type), but this made no difference to the problem.

Some additional information about the problem: it occurs in IE (version 7)
but not in Firefox (version 3). Both browsers use version WIN 10,0,12,36 of
the Adobe Flash Player (checked using
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html). This is the case on my PC and
on a colleague's Linux machine.

The project included a hotspot image slide, a categories slide and a
drag-and-drop labelling slide.

Does this spark off any thoughts?

Yours,

Joe

Send all mails to the list, yes...

Check the archives for info on mime types.

Subject: Xerte project briefly displays in Moodle and then disappears

Dear Julian,

Attached is the SCORM export file for a test project produced by one of the
partner colleges I work with. They're using the Xerte installation on the
server here at Bath (the same one I use) and followed my instructions to
export the project.

When I unzip this and run scormRLO.htm, I can view the 3 pages of the
project without any bother.

However, when I upload this to Moodle (in the same way as I've uploaded
previous projects) and then attempt to view the result, the following
happens: the XML and environment loads; the project shell (blue background)
flashes up for a split second; then the screen goes blank.

Attached to this e-mail are the archive in question and a few-seconds-long
WMV clip showing what happens in Moodle.

I'd be grateful if you could let me know what you think could be the cause
of the problem.

I'm just heading off for a meeting - back within the hour.

Yours,

Joe

P.S. Thanks for mentioning the mailing list, which I've now joined. Would
you prefer I sent e-mails such as this one to that list?
