No, there are no authorware-like icon ornaments, if that's what you mean. Certainly the only place you can write if else if else, for loops etc is in script icons.
 
Many properties are evaluated, but you know that already. In those cases, they are evaluated as expressions, not whole scripts. 
 
I did play around with an 'initScript' property a long time ago, which would have replicated the ornament thing from authorware, but decided it didn't really make sense, and tended to lead to 'where the hell's the code' nightmares.
 
The only unusual script icon is the setup script icon that can only be added between the LO icon and the interface, and it's purpose is to manipulate the file's XML before the interface is initialised.
 
What are you worried about?

I've checked them all in the default state.
Just wondering if there's any configurations where a non-script icon takes a script.
