Thanks Julian.

But I am not getting some of the transitions as scaleTo, rotate,
alpha,.. inspite using the same syntax in help.

I cannot predict where I am missing it. Are there any samples / worked
Xerte examples available for reference?

I also understand that xerte 3.0 has been upgraded with advanced
features of 3d and animations.

Can you suggest any reference materials to learn more about that?

You'll need to embed a font, by creating a resources.swf that contains
the font you want to use - see the help.

Then you can control icons containing the text / letters with
actionscript - you can control size, alpha, rotation, etc.

Subject: [Xerte] Text animation

Hi Team,

I am currently handling text animations through methods of icon class
(animate / wipe / fly/.....).

I want to do add few special effects / animations to text which are done
in flash/ JavaScript

I understand that we can create files in flash and merge it in Xerte.

But I prefer to know, if there are any ways to bring in advance text
animations within Xerte itself using action scripts /...

Can you please share any tutorial / examples for the same?

Thanks in advance.

Warm Regards,

Pavithra
