[Xerte] Online forums and activity reports?

We're including a lot of blended learning in our courses and are keen to use Xerte, although am wondering if there's the functionality for individual candidates logging on so we can check individual activity and include group forums, etc. as you can with Moodle.

Can we do this with Xerte or would Moodle be better?
