[Xerte] cmi.core.score.raw datatype?

I'm guessing that you are forcing the expression to be evaluated, rather than passing the expression itself to the function. It depends at what point the expression is evaluated. If the expression is passed to javascript, rather than the value it resolves to, then javascript cannot resolve it because the variables it uses do not exist.

I'm sure you could devise some sort of experiment to show whether it is the expression, or it's value that is passed through to the API wrapper.

If anyone is interested, the only way I could get this to work was like
this:

strScore=String(Math.round((m1score+m2score)/18*100));
_level0.setValue('cmi.core.score.raw',strScore);

Geek mode on

>From my fumbling through JS I would suspect the problem is that

String(Math.round((m1score+m2score)/18*100)));

Is getting confused with the string concatenation / addition ambiguity.

Maybe

String(Math.round(String(m1score+m2score)/18*100)));

Would resolve it?

If it even matters now :)

Does it need to be an integer?

Yes, it is a percentage.

Thanks

Mark:

Check that value is UNDER or equal 100. It must be string

Best regards
