That's a bug. Not sure what's going on there, but I'll have a look.

Subject: [Xerte] getText behaviour

Hi everyone,

This is more an AS question.

I'm using .getText() to get text from a text icon, then attach some more
text to it and change the text in the icon with .setText().

This worked up untill the point where there were linebreaks (<br> or \r)
in the text.

These I do get back as a single character (verified that with .count),
but if I put it back with setText, the linebreak is completely gone.

How can I preserve these linebreaks?

Or is there a better way to do this?

TIA,

Elly
