yep.
 
We are using the Flash Video Encoder and the cue points we specify there
are picked up fine.

We are encoding the video to flv anyway from uncompressed avi, so we are
adding the cue points when we do that.
 
But the AS method is good to know.

you can add cue point with actionscript, and then trap the events.
 
Set up the movie icon;
give it an ID
id.addASCuePoint(seconds, name);
 
then use an event handler to get the event
 
icon is the id;
eventName is the name you used in addASCuePoint
 
See how you get on. addASCuePoint doesn't necessarily add the cue point
at exactly the point you specify - I think it goes on the nearest
keyframe, so it depends to an extent on how you encode the video. For
real accuracy I think you have to add the cue point with the video
encoder. The events should then still fire I think.

Is it not possible to synchronise on an FLV in the same way as a sound?
