sorry, you're right, it's getLoadedMovie(), not getMovieClip().
getMovieClip() returns the mc associated with a particular xml node.

If I have an external swf linked in Xerte which is used as my custom
interface. How do I tell that swf to go to a certain page on it's
timeline?

 

I have tried a few different ways but no success...
