Dear Julian

  Happy New year !
Well, I have been using the default interface so far. When I tried to change the colour scheme by setting the proprties of learning object I did not get proper results. The numbers from the colour panel - when entered into properies do not give the required colours. In fact I got black more often than not. What can be the reason?

  Regards

Ooops I forgot to mention my templates menu does not seem to point to any templates - the two menus just seem to be telling me this is where I put my templates.... maybe that is the intention and this is not where I find new templates?
  e.g. Xerte Page Templates
This folder contains the page templates that are included with Xerte. Page templates must be added to an existing file.

    Best wishes E.A.

You can't do it I'm afraid. You'll need to re-position the items to the new layout,

I am so sorry to bother folks this week but I have been asked to change the frame size on some learning objects I have made to 700 pixels wide. I am wondering how to do this without the buttons being chopped off at the side and losing some of the content. It seems just crop item when you use the dimension feature rather than Just reduce the size generally. Does this need to be done with script in a web page?

Happy Christmas and New Year and many thanks.

    Best wishes E.A.

Subject: [Xerte] Making changes to the html template
  Julian,
I've been trying to modify the html template (C:\Program Files\Xerte\publish\html\rloObject.html) that creates the launching page. I've added style="margin:0" to the <body> tag, and I wonder if a future update will overwrite that file? By adding the margin parameter, the web page is sized just right, with no margins (they end up white, which doesn't match the background color of the Learning Object).
Maybe everyone would be interested in making <body style="margin:0"> the default?
