Bravo to the Russian Helpdesk for spotting this. Historically I’ve always found their support timely and excellent and this was no exception. Their diagnostic was simple “</span>rlt, rlm, and rlo files added on the server”.</p><p class="ecxMsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D"> </span></p><p class="ecxMsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Uploading Los and Previewing them is all working correctly now both within and outside XoT. I have to run IE9 in ‘compatibility’ mode, I think: nothing seemed to happen until I did. However after doing that a popup appeared as shown in the attached. I’m not sure if an installer can deal with this, on a hosted server, so it maybe down to SAVO and myself to try to sort out how to change the permissions. An echo statement in config.php shows the Template File root as </p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="margin-left:72.0pt"> </p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="margin-left:72.0pt">D:/hshome/c98804/suffolklearningconsortium.org/xerte/modules/</p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="margin-left:72.0pt"> </p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="margin-left:72.0pt">Where ‘xerte’ is the name of the ‘toolkits’ directory</p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="margin-left:72.0pt"> </p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="margin-left:72.0pt">There is also a problem importing objects which may be related to this. The import never completes and there are no error messages to indicate why. I have set “$development = true;” and “ini_set('error_reporting', 1);” in config .php but I am not seeing anything in the error_logs directory other than the readme.txt file and an empty file called ‘blank_document_for_zip.txt”</p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="margin-left:72.0pt"> </p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="margin-left:72.0pt">The server is a Windows Server and is therefore using IIS. It may be an obscure permissions issue.</p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="margin-left:72.0pt"> </p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="margin-left:72.0pt">If anyone has any ideas about how to fix this (I don’t think you can set permissions on these servers trivially) I’ld welcome some guidance.
