No, it would be the same, other than the data would be one level lower in the structure

1) I'd like a wysiwyg editor (preview needs more control in my mind)
2) I think people might like prezi huge resolution animations

It might be easier to do it as a page type, and then work it into a full blown template? You can just work with an existing install easily that way, at least as the design comes together it would be quick.

The modular stuff does need addressing at some point.
