Haven't started anything yet, but should start with the new stuff. Apereo Ian stirred up the interest at Columbia, I assume it is the same place, unsure if it still the same people. Let's do that online meeting, September sometime? I'm away last two weeks of August.

Sounds good - presumably you're starting from the editor branch with this to take account of the wysiwyg possibilities?

Is that the same Columbia University that originated WebCT way back when?

I'd suggest an online dev meeting when everyone's had hols and perhaps use Doodle to share some possible dates/times?

Quite like the idea of trying https://appear.in at the same time e.g. https://appear.in/xerte
Note: doesn't work in IE and I've locked that particular room but can send invites offlist.

Hi,

Fay is going to be working on the timeline-based lesson thing we talked about for the Erasmus bid: there are a few people showing interest here. Other than the basic principle of being able to synch the display of stuff to a media (audio / video) timeline, I'm pretty open to ideas about how this might work / what features we want to build in etc. I'd also be happy to use this as an opportunity to explore a bit more how to make everything a bit more modular, but we'll need some help with that.

I'm starting to push forward the Apereo work, but the summer slowdown has delayed things here a little. I have found some sponsors for our proposal (Edina) and possibly Columbia University in the US who have expressed some interest, so don't anticipate any problems with being accepted for incubation,

So there haven't been any changes in the last year have there?
Not much going on?
4000+ emails most of which were from this mailing list! Blimey - I can't say I'll be reading them all.

So I'm not sure how much work I'll be doing with Xerte stuff now I'm back but I thought I would say hello. Please be patient with me as if I am doing anything Xerte I think I've forgotten pretty much everything and might have lots of questions.

I take it some work on a new editor has been going on? Is there a demo anywhere I can have a play with? For no other reason than that I'm nosey :)

Thanks
