Hi Fay,

Welcome back!! Hope you had a great time off with your new baby.

Well yes, there is a new editor (I'm sure Tom will be able to let you have details of his test server so that you can see what we did). It's still very much in beta but is mostly functional.

Other than that I don't think that there has been any major changes to anything really, mainly bugfixes etc. jQuery and MEjs we both updated to more recent versions so some page models had to be tweaked to account for some deprecation but these weren't major rewrites... probably taking a quick look through the fixed Github issues will give you some idea of other stuff thats been done...

Feel free to email me though if you have any questions :-) (Although i'm on holiday from later today for a week in Lake District and i'll be switching off all electronic devices!!)

Regards,

John Smith | Learning Technologist

Please address ALL support requests to hlsblt at gcu.ac.uk where one of the School Learning Technologists will pick up the job. This will ensure that all jobs are completed as promptly as possible.

Subject: [Xerte-dev] Hello

So there haven’t been any changes in the last year have there?
Not much going on?
4000+ emails most of which were from this mailing list! Blimey - I can’t say I’ll be reading them all.

So I’m not sure how much work I’ll be doing with Xerte stuff now I’m back but I thought I would say hello. Please be patient with me as if I am doing anything Xerte I think I’ve forgotten pretty much everything and might have lots of questions.

I take it some work on a new editor has been going on? Is there a demo anywhere I can have a play with? For no other reason than that I’m nosey ☺

Thanks
