[Xerte-dev] Re: New 2.1, there are 2 problems in Firefox only

Hi Thomas,

It shows again, how difficult it is to test...

Ok. Issue 1, the errors.

I don't see those. It also is not the reason why the LO doesn't work
later. What happens, is that the code loops through
modules/xerte/parent_templates and examines all the .rlt file to see
what templates are installed in you specific installation.

Issue 2, edit and preview are empty, I see as well. I have fixed this
specific bug, but I am not sure it's the same as you see. I don't have
the strange behaviour with Public and Private.

But, in my case there was no preview.xml in the zip to be imported, and
the code expects one. If there is none, it generates an empty preview
file, resulting in this strange behaviour. It's easy to check if you
have the same issue. Just check whether you have an empty preview.xml
file, and delete that. Check if the LO functions properly after that.
I'll commit the fix in a minute.

If you don't have an empty preview.xml file, could you please send me a
zip file you try to import?

Tom

My problem is that I can upload the zip file and Xerte can unzip it in the import directory, however the file does not appear in the Workspace and there's nothing in the USER_FILES directory and nothing in the template_details table, and no success/failure message under normal settings.

I'm not sure if I need to overwrite the 'data' file or not, but it seems to work.
