[Xerte-dev] Re: 2.1 / Look and Feel

Just noticed another small problem and tested in IE, Firefox and Chrome.

frontpage.css now has

.topbar,.edit_topbar{

               height:80px;

               background-image:url(../images/TopBar.jpg);

               background-repeat:repeat-x;

               margin:10px auto 0px auto;

               width:910px;

}

I'm not sure that top margin of 10px is really needed but if it's left at
10px then the editor height in Nottingham.info needs to be increased
otherwise at 100% zoom the play button in the editor is hidden. There must
be some extra space used too - possibly to accommodate the UK China Malaysia
bit but according to my tests Nottingham.info needs to change as follows:

with topbar as it is at 10px

editor size: 800,690

with topbar changed to margin:0px auto 0px auto;

editor size: 800,680

I guess this might be unique to my configuration but it certainly applies
cross browser on my laptop.

Yeah that's worked so far.

Ah, hadn't noticed that. No, no reason.

'New Folder'?

I just downloaded and upgraded a test install - is there a reason you
changed the New Folder button to just Create?

Personal opinion but I think that could be confusing for new users who don't
need to worry about folders to begin with.

Will report further after proper testing.

Cheers. I haven't found much in using a localhost the last few weeks, but
will make sure I log anything,

Let's aim for November 1st.
Nothing really more dangerous has been added than the fixes we applied to
2.0 as well.

I'll start testing too.

Hi,

Niko has pushed the new look and feel into the repo, so please go ahead and
set it up and start to test in earnest now. I will as well.

I'm off work next week: do you think we can aim for a release on Fri 1st
November?

Thanks to Niko for the interface work,

Julian
